When your Child has CancerAs a parent of a child with cancer, you probably have a lot of unanswered questions. The "When Your Child Has Cancer" slide show was developed by the Association of Pediatric Oncology Nurses (APON) and the AFLAC Cancer Center at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta to help parents understand pediatric cancers and their treatments. In this slide show, you will find answers to many of your questions, such as "What will the treatments or tests be like?" and "How can I help my child manage his or her side effects?" You should speak with your child's doctor or nurse about any specific concerns.
