Welcome to the Learn About page. Find out more about your cancer, the treatments you will have, your recovery, and coping with the feelings that you may be experiencing. If you don't have cancer, but you have a brother or sister with cancer, we have articles especially for you, too.
We have information on many types of pediatric cancers. If you don't see your cancer on the list or if you have any questions that you don't find answers to, you can email us and we'll try to help you.
If You Have Cancer:
After you're done with treatment, you will still need to go to the doctor for follow-up care and to make sure you remain healthy. Our articles "Follow-Up Care for Childhood Cancer Survivors" and "Late-Effects of Childhood Cancer" can tell you what to expect.
If you have a parent or a grandparent who has cancer, you may have a lot of questions and worries. We offer some helpful information in our "What to Expect if Your Loved One Has Cancer" article. Choose from the list below if your brother or sister has cancer.
